dobrodosli_eng.jpgIn the heart of the spacious and fertile Leskovian valley, fifty kilometres long and forty five kilometres wide, lies the city of Leskovac. It abounds in a great variety of geographic features and tourist facilities which will attract even the most particular of visitors. Apart from this multitude of features and facilities, Leskovac is also an important transit centre, providing links to Southern Europe (Greece), North-Western Europe via Belgrade, the Adriatic Sea via Priština, and the Black Sea and the Eurasian corridor via Sophia. The territory of the municipality of Leskovac is situated at an altitude between 210 and 240 meters above sea level.

Renovated school opened in Gornje Krajince ПДФ Штампај Е-пошта

The renovated branch building of primary school “Radoje Domanovic” in Manojlovce was opened for 30 students from 1st – 4th grade and eight pre-school children from the village of Gornje Krajince.

Goran Cvetanovic, the Mayor of Leskovac, said that children no longer had to travel six kilometers to school in Bratmilovce and added that was one of the ways to provide better living conditions in rural areas.

Reconstruction and rebuilding of the school began in the middle of March last year and RSD10,265,000.00 were allocated for this purpose. The existing building that was built in the fifties got a new part for preschool children.

The school is now equipped with computers, and the yard has an arranged park with wooden benches.
